TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. RECEIVES THIRD CONSECUTIVE CHANNEL’S CHOICE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE AWARD

Dealers Select Toshiba in Three Channel’s Choice Award Categories Through Business Technology Association

IRVINE , California   ( Mar 19, 2009 ) :

Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today proudly announced that for the third year running it has been awarded the Business Technology Association (BTA) 2009 “Channel’s Choice Superior Performance” award, the organization’s top honor. The announcement was made at Information Technology Education and Exposition (ITEX) 2009 on March 18. The company also was honored to receive Channel’s Choice awards in two key performance categories: Corporate Support and Inventory.

“We are extremely honored to have earned this recognition from the dealer community this year, and are especially proud of the consistency of these accolades, demonstrating Toshiba’s sustaining commitment to the independent dealer channel,” said Mark Mathews, president and chief operations officer, TABS. “Our industry has endured significant change this past year, and change will likely continue for some time. The products, programs and processes established by Toshiba over the past several years have prepared us well, and our dealers have recognized, once again, the outstanding support the Toshiba organization provides each and every one of them.”

The BTA Channel’s Choice awards are based on feedback from independent office technology dealerships across the country representing all copier/multi-function product (MFP) vendors in the industry. More than 250 dealers chose to participate this year and were asked to rank their primary and secondary vendors in four key performance categories – Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line and Inventory. Results were tabulated for BTA by Industry Analysts Inc. Toshiba took home three of the six annual awards, including the top overall honor of Superior Performance.

“TABS has done it yet again. The company has won the prestigious ‘Channel’s Choice Superior Performance’ award for the 10th time since the program was established 20 years ago,” said Brent Hoskins, executive director, Business Technology Association and editor, Office Technology magazine. “The dealers have spoken and once again they proclaim loud and clear that Toshiba is the partner of choice for extraordinary support and overall performance.”
