National Sales Meeting Goes Regional to Demonstrate Toshiba is “Committed to Your Success”

IRVINE , California   ( May 04, 2009 ) :

Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the dates for its 2009 Regional Dealer Summit events. Instead of holding one national dealer meeting as in recent years, TABS is breaking the event into two, creating a more intimate setting and reducing time out of the field. Meeting content will be shaped to demonstrate the event theme of “Committed to Your Success.” Specific summit dates and locations include:

  • July 14 – 16, 2009 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.
  • July 27 – 29, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, N.J.

“With the struggles this economy is creating for so many dealers, we are using these events as an opportunity to truly demonstrate that Toshiba is fully committed to their success,” said Mark Mathews, president and chief operating officer, TABS. “Smaller regional events allow us to take a more personalized approach in addressing our dealers’ immediate needs, while still sharing important and exciting company and product updates.”

Holding two smaller events on each side of the country will provide more opportunity for information sharing and dialog. In addition to the traditional new product introductions and keynote address, TABS executives are planning to host a Dealer Success Forum at each summit to share proven strategies and discuss current issues being faced in the industry.

“We first experimented with the regional dealer summit schedule in 2004, and found it to be a really nice change of pace,” continued Matthews. “We were able to engage with our independent dealers more directly and received positive feedback from dealers on the format and condensed schedule. We’re looking forward to an equally successful run in 2009.”
